A twelve day road trip, Toronto to Tofino and back. Long days in a car and enough landscape to make your head explode. Seemed like there had to be a series in that. How else to hold onto it? Hence, “12 Days on the Road” – 12 paintings, one for each day of the trip. No two alike, not at that speed. Most in two parts, most (all?) with a road map – the Trans Canada Highway become a red line slicing/twisting across the canvas. This is part of that series in progress.
